Healthy Lunches they’ll Love!

Research show that kids who eat lots of fruits and vegetables over the course of the day are more likely to do well on tests; therefore, shouldn’t we make sure their lunches at school are filled with foods with a lot of nutritional value?

After reading an article on healthy lunch choices, I decided to include them here for all of you in case you need some help thinking of healthy options for your students lunches.  Each packed lunch represented a different type of child so that even picky eaters would have healthy choices.

The Comfort Food Lover:

  • PB&J made with whole grain bread, natural peanut butter and no-sugar-added jelly.
